With the GE864 product family Telit is offering a small and compact GSM/GPRS Quad-Band module with BGA technology (Ball-Grid-Array). This module is dedicated for applications from the field of telemetry and telematics, for data transmission terminals, remote control or remote surveillance.

Due to the small size and the extended operating temperature range the GE864 is the perfect solution for M2M applications and mobile data terminals with medium to high volumes with special requirements regarding size and height. Thanks to the BGA technology connectors are eliminated and solution cost is significantly reduced compared to conventional mounting.

The GE864-PY is offering the possibility to host customer application scripts and making the device thus one of the smallest and compact platforms for M2M solutions. In many cases an external controller can be saved. State-of-the-art IIC interfaces provide connectivity to external peripherals such as sensors and displays.
