The compact Quad Band Telit GC864 GSM/GPRS module is ideally suited for industrial data transmission applications.

With the GC864 product family Telit is offering a small and very compact GSM/GPRS Quad Band module with industrial connectors. This module is dedicated for applications from the field of telemetry and telematics, for data transmission terminals, remote control or remote surveillance.

The compact size and the extended operating temperature range make the GC864 the perfect solution for M2M applications and mobile data terminals with small to medium volumes. Due to the boad-to-board connector the module can be ordered and mounted in order-related quantities.

The GC864-PY is offering the possibility to host customer application scripts and making the device thus one of the smallest and compact platforms for M2M solutions. In many cases an external controller can be saved. State-of-the-art IIC interfaces provide connectivity to external peripherals such as sensors and displays.
